January 30th - February 5th, 2023

The second principle of the circular economy is to circulate products and materials at their highest value. The challenges this week will help you keep products in use for longer.

🎯 Challenge #1: Repair something

Find something in your home you were going to throw out, and give it a new life! Repair it. If it can’t be repaired to function as before, get creative - find a new use for it.

How did you do?

How many items did you manage to repair (or make plans to repair)?  ______

🎯 Challenge #2: Reuse (buy second hand, upcycle), sell, or re-gift/donate something used

Buying used saves money and enables items to remain in circulation longer. Here are some ideas to buy something used but at great quality. You can also sell (or donate) used items. Remember the principle of week #2 - use less. If you don’t really need it, don’t buy it.
